* We have received reports that the containership TOR (IMO: 9243617) experienced an engine failure in the Çanakkale Strait at Kepez Point on 6 April 2026.
* It is reported that a tug was deployed to assist and secure the vessel, which was later shifted to the north of Bozcaada Island for inspection and, possibly, repairs.
* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
