* We have received reports that bulk carrier CAPE FALCON (IMO: 9916202) ran aground whilst attempting to anchor in a position approximately 6 nautical miles off the eastern coast of Gladstone, Australia on 18 September 2026.
* It is reported that initial attempts to refloat the vessel with tug assistance were unsuccessful but efforts to refloat the vessel will continue.
* It is possible that General Average, Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this incident.
* We therefore recommend that you contact us if you are concerned with any cargo on board the vessel at the time of the incident so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
