* We have received reports that Ro/Ro container carrier MARIN (IMO: 8912376) experienced an engine failure in a position approximately 21 nautical miles off the eastern coast of Kalecik, Cyprus on 29 September 2026.
* It is reported that the vessel was taken under tow by tug to Famagusta, Cyprus for inspection and repairs.
* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
