* It is reported that the AMBER L ran aground in a position approximately 20 nautical miles off Biringkasi, Indonesia, shortly after departure from that port, on 22 June 2020. The vessel is understood to be carrying a cargo of approximately 39,500 MT of Clinker in bulk bound for China.

* Professional salvors have been instructed to provide assistance to refloat the vessel and we understand that salvage services are being rendered on Lloyd's Open Form terms.

* Consequently, Salvage Security may be demanded from a source in the UK and W K Webster may be able to assist in this respect. Security provided by WKW is acceptable to the Council of Lloyds and is a widely preferred option by professional Salvors.

* If General Average is declared, General Average security may also be required from Cargo Interests prior to the delivery of their cargo and we are also likely to be able to assist in that regard.

* We may also be able to assist with any associated recovery issues that may arise as a result of this casualty.

* If you insure the subject cargo, we recommend that you contact us urgently so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
