Seroja Lima

* It is reported that container carrier SEROJA LIMA lost approximately 27 containers overboard in position Latitude 38° 40' North , Longitude 019° 30' West, East of the Azores, Portugal on 27th November.

* Navigational Information provided by AIS reports the vessel diverted from its original New York destination to a Port of Refuge at Freeport, Bahamas.

* In addition to the lost containers, it is reported that approximately 90 further containers on board were damaged.

* It is possible that General Average and recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
