* Fully cellular container vessel, EVER LIBERAL, is reported to have experienced a collapse of container stacks during strong winds and rough seas in a position approximately 20 nautical miles off Kyushu, Japan on 30 December 2020.

* 36 forty-foot containers are reported to have been lost overboard and a further 21 containers are reported to have fallen onto the deck as a result of the collapse of the stow.

* The vessel diverted to Taipei, Taiwan to arrange for the discharge of the damage containers.

* It is possible that Recovery issues may arise as a result of this incident. We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo stowed on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
