CMA CGM Titus

* We have received reports that container ship, CMA CGM TITUS experienced a fire in its engine room whilst on passage to Jebel Ali on 29 March 2022.

* The fire was extinguished by the crew but the vessel was unable to progress its voyage under its own power. The vessel was therefore taken under tow by tug to Jebel Ali for inspection, where it arrived on 7 April 2022.

* Recovery issues may arise as a result of any loss of power or delay to temperature-controlled cargo and/or time sensitive cargo.

* We recommend that you contact us if you are concerned with any affected cargo stowed on board this vessel so that we may start taking steps to protect your interests.
