KEOYOUNG PIONEER

* We have received reports that Chemical/Products Tanker, KEOYOUNG PIONEER ran aground on reefs in a position north west of Kuchinoshima Island, Japan on 16 April 2024.

* The vessel is reported to have sustained damage to its hull and to be leaking fuel as a result of the grounding.

* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
