RIX MUNTE

* We have received reports that General cargo ship, RIX MUNTE (IMO: 9191254) experienced a fire in the cargo hold whilst loading cargo at Koge, Denmark, on 30 April 2024.

* It is reported that the fire was later extinguished by the local fire brigade but reports indicate that the vessel may be at risk of capsizing at the berth.

*It is possible that General Average / Salvage and Recovery issues may arise as a result of this incident.

*We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
