MEDKON KRM

* We have received reports that general cargo vessel, MEDKON KRM (IMO: 9113044) experienced an engine failure in a position south of Constantza, Romania on 24 May 2024.

* It is reported that the vessel was initially taken under tow by tug to Constantza, where cargo was discharged and has subsequently been taken under tow by tug towards Tuzla, Turkey for repairs.

* It is possible that General Average issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
